with there fellow florida feller... first two sets i got were antler. discussed options with my maker and because box is relatively soft and these are gigging pipes, he went with horn where the mounts would take a beating and box in a supporting role... switch em' out if they're really bothering you...

hey - right there with the natural yet sustainably harvested materials. my honorable dmq made the mounts on my pipes out of boxwood for a lighter accent to pick up the traditional lighter tone of the ivory - but since it is a soft wood, used water buffalo horn for the parts of the mounts that would ...

At First Light - Idir CD
Has anyone been able to get hold of the new At First Light CD? I ordered one over a month ago and have not been able to find a way to contact McSherry's on line store to track, or check on delivery et al. - So I am curious if anyone else ordered a copy but were able to receive it?
