Congratulations!
4 and a half inches seems to be fairly narrow. The bellows might be at a squeez to get in there

for crying out loud, what kind of direction is this thread taking?? this sort of rubbish is exactly the type of political c$$p that leads to divides between communities.

we're all part of the piping community here, lets not let other stuff get into it.

i think it could be very time-consuming trying to even write soen a single piece of ornementation with the code. A D cran could for example would have about 50 xxxoo entries??

nice idea, but it could be difficult to write it down in practice.

yeah my harp cost me €4,300 ( approx $5,200 ) a couple of years ago and the pipes $7,900 or €6,400. honestly, both irreplacable as far as i'm concerned. maybe if somebody was crazy enough offer me over 12,000 for the pipes....., the harp, never, as the maker, Larry Egar, is retiring soon. my old har...

not at all Steve, merely pointing out that there are so many ridiculous Irish words/sayings, and even specific to different counties, that many of my Galway friends haven't a clue what i'm on about half the time. So debating the origin of "craic" or any word is slightly cat melodian. At th...

this is a fairly odd thread. craic is used very commonly in ireland in every part of the country. good craic, bad craic, mad craic, any craic?, no craic, ur man's good craic, bit of craic, etc. origin, smorigin, it's a word like arsegan, ludar, ludraman, clipe, clart, divil the hate............... d...

i got a gallagher full set a few months ago. there's only a few here in ireland and anyone that's heard them is blown away. a couple of my friends who have sets that cost nearly twice as much prefer my set.so does that mean my set is worth twice what i paid for it or their sets or worth half what th...

i've been playing for 15 years (sounds mental saying it) and at times i was very disheartened with the instrument. i'm better known as a harper and probably a relatively better harper than piper, so it was all too easy to play the harp at sessions, etc. However, i don't think i ever really considere...

session etequite can be frankly shocking at times - it happens everywhere. in a so-called informal session about a month ago in galway pub, myself and a friend were having a couple of tunes between 9 and 10 before the 10 session was to begin. i get on very well with the bar staff, locals and everyon...

I actually think that dancing has grown back closer to the music, at least in occasional sessions. it's no longer a complete novelty for me to be in a session and for a dancer(s) to start up, be it sean nos or set or whatever. regarding the issue of the music being too quick, i wouldn't agree. most ...

aye, marty's CDs lovely. and he's a very sound lad - up corcaghan and the seans. he's got some really good old tunes on there and his low whistle playing on a couple of the tracks is excellent. my sister guest on the harp on it along with Laura Beagon, a fiddle player from monaghan. sean mc elwaine,...
