Hi Gabriel,
I will be doing a similar task on Uilleann Wiki in about 3 or 4 weeks, and will be taking photos of local sets in Manchester and about.
I am happy to share what comes up if you are interested.

I am deeply concerned that you have not received any response from the pro/semi-pro makers. Bell end issues always deserve immediate attention. :D There is also usually a sage reminder about altering chanters on these threads, there must be an event somewhere this weekend. If I can offer some amateu...

I have ordered a C# chanter so I am looking forward to playing a few tunes with you. Les, thanks for the photos, it would be great to hea...

Thanks for the reply Bill. I am not questioning the accuracy of the measurements but the methodology of only taking the minor axis dimensions. Any resulting reamer would produce a bore smaller than the one cut by Rowsome. Should the sizes be increased to compensate and by what amount? Would the fact...

For chanters, try the detailed Rowsome dimensions from John Hughes, as published in Craig Fischer's article in a 1999 Pipers' Review edition. Bill I find this set of data slightly confusing. In the article Craig states he has collected almost 100 sets of data. He then gives the Rowsome data from Jo...
