To me you need to simplify and give focus, at the moment it is all too uniform. Try and give yourself say three tones only: black for lines hair and flute and a grey for the shirt with everything else white. McEvoy's flute is straight not bulging too and the ring on the bulgy bit doesn't seem to match the other ones. There's another R&R but no pic. All from deceased gentlemen... several deceased gentlemen flute fanciers... someone is targeting flute collectors.

I'm no expert but that head looks like a stranger to the rest of the flute.

No No all of these will cause your flute to explode, the only safe option is otter fat.

Hawkes are good flutes of their time. Are these turn of the century? Look like it to me even after could well be. The 8 key looks worth restoring.
