I don't understand why UP makers should be forgiven for not being able to give an approximative (1 or 2 moths) date for delivery. You would at least expect that as a mark of respect for the customer in any other job. Makers, as other people, can imagine how it takes to make an instrument, and can pl...

Hi D transcription: the F in m. 3 before end is already Fnat (see the sign = before F), check your abc software, which perhaps doesn't accept that way, there is unfortunately no standard abc notation; Gsharp m.16: can't see it, it might be your software, please control; G transcription m.3 Fnat is F...

Bach orchestral suite n°3

I don't know if there is any interest for that such of thing, but here is the air, second part of the 3rd orchestral suite, that sounds to me nicely when played on wooden flute, and which is interesting also for key practising: Original, in D: X:1 T:Suite pour orchestre n°3 - Air C:Jean-Sébastien Ba...

I took my camera with me to take some pix (I even forgot it when leaving), but I couldn't take any good one in the workshop, because your flute was totally disassembled, and there was no good result.

Sorry about that...

HI John I'm just leaving Stephane, who showed me your flute. Nice work indeed! He's now waiting for your C/C# keys to complete and send it. Those keys are his first of a new model, that's why it takes a little longer than expected. I couldn't try any Ruddall model, but I tried a Pratten. Very nice s...

A very short wait indeed

I'm living 15 km far from him, and have a flute that need some care; I intend to visit him next friday, if possible. I'll try to get some news of your flute then and inform you.

Best regards.

Once again, Joseph is first. I got the pix tonight. Strange, but nice set, isn't it? I got no answer about maker, age, reeds, bellows maker, etc. An expert should be at office on friday, I'll try to get some info (except if some of you want to improve his french speaking, of course...) So if anyone ...

Tom Aebi (Switzerland) is definetly one of the greatest flute makers, pretty well known in Britanny and anywhere else in France, due to his location and the exceptionnal quality of his production. Many flute players here switch to Aebi flutes nowadays. Sylvain Barou is one of our best ITM players in...
