My question was not meant to address a problem. Maker has a posted price list and all that which I have no doubt will be honored. Just curious if there was a norm, as it does seem risky (mostly to maker) when long waits of many years are taken into account.

waiting list and price

Just a quick and probably silly question. When one's pipes are finally ready, which price is it - the price at the time the order was placed, or current price? The price of some makers sets seem to be going up quite a bit year to year.

Terrible news. I feel quite guilty now because I've been thinking lately that she should get off her lazy ass and keep up with her editorials. I had no idea she was ill.

Some of the older protest singers not only talked the talk, but walked the walk. Peter Tosh was repeatedly jailed and beaten for his outspokenness, and was eventually assasinated. 'Downpresser Man' is a classic.

Sorry, but I rarely see whistles for sale in NYC. When you can find them its usually just a display card of D Generations.

I have a brass one and love it, and all of the above is true of mine. This is a whistle that must be played full tilt. And yes, the pressure required for the high a and b could cause a stroke.

There is one really funny story about a horse race at the beginning of the Irish book, but it rapidly goes downhill after that to join the English book. Not impressed. I wouldn't recommend either book. djm Yep, the horse race story was very good, but didn't care for the rest of it. The whole Englis...
