Of course this whole thread is a waste of time. because the Davy Spillane Low whistle doesnt really exist. Bloomfield is really just a Bond baddy stirring up trouble and Brian Howard was posing as Phil Hardy to undermine the competition. Oh, and Dale shot Kennedy from the grassy book surpository. Mark

I have a related question - does anybody like Shaws the way they are out of the box? Yes I do! I got a Shaw tenor G from Ebay. Yes it is breathy and takes some puff, but I like a whistle that fights back a bit! You have to play every whislte on its merits. If you think the Shaws take a lot of breat...
