HELP!!! KEY-RELATED QUESTION

I am almost ashamed of my lack of theory knowledge... but... A friend asked me to play some whistle on a song of his. Gave me a track yesterday. The song is written in A, all my whistles are Ds. I suspected it wouldn't work out, and it doesn't (not without half-holing every other note, which is way ...

Dear CTW, If you are interested in Celtic fingerstyle, there are two videos by Tony McManus that will become essential to your collection. I've grown to think that Tony is by far the utmost best in this style and his videos are fantastic. They are geared towards the intermediate to advanced player a...

The tight lock they keep on the news over there makes it difficult to really know the extent of the damage. According to NPR's correspondent this morning, the official death toll was at 54, but was expected to skyrocket because it appears over 1,200 residences were destroyed... 1,200 residences, har...

The last thing that I am going to do is backdown from anyone on this board! They do not have to agree with me. I'll say it again as I feel that that's the norm here at times. A number of you people just do not understand when to let something ( someones comment ) go simply because it's that individ...

Monster, $20 couldn't possibly have bought you Photoshop, even in 1997. Probably a watered down version, since Elements wasn't aroubnd back then. I've been running Photoshop Elements 2.0 on a Windows 2000 PC for a year, with no problems whatsoever. And it really gives you everything a non-profession...

The question is: do you entertain ...

Evelyn , a surprisingly good film with Pierce Brosnan about an Irish father fighting for custody of his children. Some good music/pub scenes (I think Pierce even does his own singing). The Magdalene Sisters Not much music, but a chilling look at an institution where Irish women who had "straye...
