FS: Forbes Flute

Forbes Flute in delrin. It has offset holes and comes with 3 pocket leatherette soft case. It hasn't gotten much use outside of 1 recording session and some occasional noodling around. It is in perfect condition - clean and sterilized. $325 plus US shipping. pm me if interested

I do have a Burke in D. I do like it but Boisvert/Greenwood Pipes is my all time favorite whistle. It is like butter on toast. Sorry I sold my c. I like the sound of wood I guess. Also have a few of Mack Hoover's creations in lower keys and some of them blend well. I am still getting used to in ear ...

Those worship songs are great with pipes. i would love to try pipes also but I think that might push my wife over the edge. There was a fiddle player at one of the concerts I did with Robin and I did have 2 semesters of violin in college. Hmmmm

As stated above I will be gone from Monday thru June 7th. I'll check Monday and when I return. If no interest I will need to go to ebay - really hate to do that but funs are needed. I agree with previous reply. I play trumpet, sax, & flute. breathing skills required for all including whistles. Try experimenting around with a few different brands. All have individual characteristics including response & breath requirements. Learning to get through the octave change smoot...
