Re: Which C is most common for basses ?

Thanks Steve, If i give over my C#, it won't be as heavy as a 12 bass accordion. Please let me know what you'd recommend along with the C. I've got C on the Pull, need something on the push. I'm kinda used to the rest of this setup now. My lay out is: A/E A/E ?/C ?/C F#/B F#/B D/G D/G Bertrand Gaill...

Which C is most common for basses ?

I'll be on the waiting list for a Gaillard by tomorrow!!

I can't figure out what's the most common C on the basses
for a C#D system. My C and C# are both on the pull.
I'd like to stick to only 8 basses.

Is there anyone with any C's or C#'s in their basses ?

Re: Best flute options for beginners

I'v played a Dave Copley blackwood for manny years, which is very easy to play.
I tried out a Gary Somers delrin Pratten at a session today.
I was amazed how easy this flutes plays, volume is no issue either, no bother, effortless!!

Re: Custom ear plugs

Many Tnanks!
I think i'll go for the custom ear plugs, although i've been told that our ears keep on growing and we'll need a check up every 5 years, or whenever we notice they don't block the high pitched notes any more. But i wouldn't use them in a session, that would look very weird :o

Custom ear plugs

Flute playing can be a bitch to your ears, that's why i like to switch to accordion a lot.
I don't like those high pitched notes, and i'm afraid they're damaging to our ears too.
Are custom musicians ear plugs that level out the sound a wise choice here ?

Looking for a very quiet button accordion

It would be handy in our apartment. or a button accordion that can be played
very quiet when needed. I'm not interested in midi accordions.
Which make should i go for ?
