I asked Susanne Ward that question a couple of months ago and this was her reply
Thanks for asking Liam. Yes, the tionol will be in E. Durham from Sept 30-Oct 3. We will hopefully have the website updated by May with all the details. And you will, of course, be notified.

I've placed my name on the waiting list for one of CJ's rosewood chanters PJ, Have you seen or heard his chanters? His Website only has pictures of a chanter being made but no picture of the finished product. There are no soundfiles also. I was thinking of ordering one but I am reluctant without so...

I have a bit of a pain in my right hand at the moment. Its called a broken wrist. I was able to play the tin whistle about a week after I broke it but I am having trouble spreading my fingers far apart enough to cover all the holes on the chanter all the time. Anyway the cast comes off in a few days...

If you look at the recent sales from the apparent E-bay seller in Syracuse, he mainly trades in parts for Suzuki motorcycles. Ill bet he knows nothing about this scam and his E-bay account is somehow being used by the conman without his knowledge. The conman wants you to contact him at his yahoo e-m...

I grew up listening to him on Radio 1 each Sunday morning. I'm sure many traditional musicians today can trace their interest back to his weekly broadcast. You can listen to his Sunday morning show anytime on the web. (you will have to skip through 10 minutes of news before you get to the begining i...

Practice set wanted

Take a look at David Dayes website. http://daye1.com/pennychanter.html I got one of his practice sets and am pleased with it. I got the 'easy set' where he built the chanter and I assembeled the rest (bellows, bag ect.) You can also assemble the whole chanter yourself if you are brave enough. His wa...
