FS: Left-handed 4-Key Flute by Hammy Hamilton & Terry McGee

Having another go at selling my fantastic Hamilton/McGee flute. The flute has been well maintained and is in excellent condition. Big, reedy tone; very light and comfortable to play. $1200 US o.n.o. Here's an audio sample of me playing the flute: https://soundcloud.com/channing-dodson/griogal-cridhe...

Re: WTB: Dance Music of Willie Clancy

I had a copy that I picked up in Ireland in the late '90s. Then in college, I photocopied a few tunes from it to give to a friend who was thinking of learning some fiddle tunes and left it sitting in the library copy machine. When I realized I had forgotten it, I raced back for it, but it was alread...

NB: I'm located in the NW United States. While I am willing to ship the flute internationally, be advised that shipping the flute internationally would result in a delay while I obtain documentation to avoid any unwanted CITES shenanigans.

Re: LH or normal practice/1.5 set?

I'm a lefty as well. When I started the GHB, I instinctively picked up the practice chanter with my right hand on top, and my first teacher--who was a bit of a non-conformist Hamish Moore acolyte (not that that was a bad thing at all)--thought that was totally OK. In retrospect, I wonder how my musi...

[Bump]

While I've received a couple of interested queries, no one has "sealed the deal" yet, so the flute is _still_ available.

This is a serious bargain for a great flute.

FS: Alba Low D Whistle

Hello! Thanks for taking a minute to look at my post. I'm selling a low D whistle made by Alba Whistles in Scotland in 2003. It's a great low whistle with a very bold, flute-like sound, but I already play the flute, so I've hardly ever played it. It would suit a serious whistle player hoping to be h...
