I must say I also rarely order bottles, but the domicile of the swiss branch is not far from us, so it happens that I go there once or twice a year. By the way, there will be a scotch market at october 28.

I am sorry I can't say for sure since I captured it from broadcast. Windows media player assigns ist to the album "Cold Blow and the Rainy Night" but further album information does not show this title of the set.

Help identifying reels

Hi

The Set "Vicar Steet Reels" from Planxty seems to contain three reels. Fist is Jenny's Wedding. Anyone could help me with the names of the other two?

Thanks!

Languages are like musical ability--they languish if they aren't used often. That's exactly the problem. I grew up with an Italian dialect and Swiss German (there is not one real Swiss German, say one of them therefore). In school I was teached German (so called High German) then Italian, French an...

What a terrible story. I'm glad to hear you're both fine. I hope you can manage with insurance.

One of my favorites has always been Sisters of mercy . Perhaps because of the fact adding one instrument after another givies a kind of musical suspence sustaining the ballad form. I see most of you specified older pieces. I had some problems to really listen to later songs of him when his voice was...

Well, there are over 100 members there, including a couple of dozen who are regular posters. I think the consensus was to keep it apart. Dale As I said I understand that there are good reasons for it. I just felt that there should at least be a link in the main webside, which I missed. Anyway, than...

Re: Help! Bodhran stuck!

I know this is not really the right forum, but you could see in the title that it's not about whistles .. i hope it's no problem. About 12 years ago we bought a Bodhran in Ireland. A basic non-tuneable model. It always standed on the cupboard, untill some time ago, when i thought: 'i'm going to giv...

This was a very hard thing to choose, as I love all sorts of bread. I voted for rye bread because I make it of sourdough in the winter time myself.
