friends traveling in Ireland, looking for music stops
A close friend of mine and his college-age son are leaving for Ireland on July 21. They will spend the 22nd & 23rd in Dublin, 24th - 27 in Doolin, and the 28th - 29th in Dublin. Leaving the 30th.
Would love to have your suggestions for favorite places to hear music.

Re: Coolboard archive?
Regretfully, I don't think so. I sure don't have the archive. This current version of the board has been working since 2001. I really frankly don't remember much about the board before that other than the service was Coolboard. It's possible, I guess, that Rich made an archive, but I can't imagine t...

Hi, there.
We've learned from long, hard experience that it's best to avoid religious discussion on the board. I miss it, in some respects, but we could just never figure out a way to make it work. So, I'd be grateful if you would refrain.
Thanks very much,
Dale

Re: Kawai Toy Piano anyone?
I confess these things make sounds that make me want to injure myself. However, I have been known to turn them upside down and pluck the metal rods by hand. Much more satisfying sound. Sort of a demented, jumbo kalimba.

Re: Wife posting for Denny - time to find new homes for his flut
Adena, you might want to contact Blayne Chastain, who has taken over Doc Jones' online Irish Flute Store, and ask if maybe he can handle the whole lot on consignment as an estate sale. Blayne is a long-time member here, who I'm sure remembers Denny. http://www.irishflutestore.com/ http://forums.chi...

Re: Talbert St Claire posts Low whistle videos to Youtube
Not that this has anything to do with these videos, but Turlach Boylan and Zac Leger were staying at my house some years ago and we were watching a few minutes of some kind of New Agey/World Music horror on TV. We were pretty much speechless, until Turlach let out a little explosion of laughter and ...
