Horses for courses, it's perfectly natural that some people just don't "get" WB concert pitch , but one things for sure, if WBCP had not been developed Uilleann pipes of all pitches would be dead by now.

Martin preshaw makes great union pipes and some of the top players are playing his pipes and as can be seen in this vid everything is hand made in the traditional way.

Word on the street is that the set was bought by Mr Patel of the research and development department of the Sialkot bagpipes company. I'm no expert,but there are certain tell tale signs that you have to look out for. You would think if someone was serious about their work they make an effort to correct the obvious signs. But if you look closely you can see the line left by the mould, that apple is fake.

What's to be done when your pipes need professional attention and the maker is no longer in business ? You'd be lucky to find a pipemaker who would work on a non-classic set of pipes .
