Maybe your "frugal" friend could compute her retirement income...then overlay it to various scenarios in the US. The possibilities are wildly variable in this vast place.

I LIKE her lack of Pop Appeal.
I LIKE her uniqueness...visual and personal.
I even like the stratospheric wailing...in measured doses.

I've played a Chieftain Gold Low D. The one I owned had a great "french horn" type muted tone. Lovely.

If you get one, be ready for some serious whistle-weight!
