If enlarging the hole helps the flute become sharper, is equally true for both round and square embouchure. What about squaring out a round embouchure to help give it volume?

Outline

The gum that is around the edges can cause another problem. I had protected something with tape and the edges of the tape caught dirt. When the tape and the gum was removed there was a perfect outline of the tape scratched into the object.

I always liked fingernail polish. Nothing beats a big pink sparkling embouchure plate on a Mel Bay fife.

Healy fife question

I could not find any information on the difference between Healy’s normal fife and his deluxe other than finger hole size and placement. Is there anther differances? I could not find any additional information on his sight, and was unable to reach someone by email.
