Well, I was able to drink a little bit of juice smoothie (green apple, kiwi, mango, star fruit, spirulina, blue green algae) and not feel too icky. First food I've had since Monday evening. Yay!! Thanks to those who have wished me a speedy recovery and offered sympathies for my plight. :) DCrom, no ...

Sushi and whistling

Two of my favorite things, but thanks to one I cannot enjoy the other.... I got a "slightly off" Spicy Salmon Maki the other night, and now I can't whistle or toot a flute because it makes my stomach roll. Has anyone actually ever died of Whistling and Fluting Withdrawal?? Who cares ...

Thanks James, I'll see if I can get my hands on an Oak... the Clarke is just way to breathy for me, to the point of causing dizziness. Not a good thing. :boggle:

My love to Shannon and the ferts, too! I'll give a holler if I ever head your way. :)

I see! Thanks Ray... and you too, Amar, for your graphics presentation. I think I may have to try to get a hold of one of those some day! Well, the Tim Tam, not the Tam Tim-- he may not appreciate being nabbed from his home. ;)

Argh... I knew I should have paid better attention in my music theory class. ::sigh:: I need a translator. Seriously though, I'll see if I give it a go Colomon! Thanks to both you and Dubhlinn for the help!!

Now if I just had a decent C whistle-- I hate my Clarke. :(

Way OT: What on earth is a Tim Tam?

Dub, that one will work on my D whistle, thanks! Unfortunately, it's a different key than the Old Blind Dogs version, so I'll have to keep noodling away at playing along with the CD. Can someone correct me if I'm wrong-- if Colomon is right about it being in D dorian, it should be good on my C whist...

Birkin Tree

I'm having a hard time getting started on trying to figure out The Birkin Tree, as performed by Old Blind Dogs... does anyone know what key it's in?

Best,

Did I say "spontaneous"? I meant random.... so who says I was laughing at you?? ;)

All in good fun, Amar, you know the board loves you just the way you are. :D

Sorry, Amar, don't mind me... I'm just a jovial kind of person, prone to spontaneous bouts of laughter.

 <-- see, there I go again
