Time

Oh Loren ...Time what is time? Some artists can paint a masterpiece in minuites,as far as Chieftain whistles are concerned, just enough,no more ,no less than is needed to make an instument that I can't seem to produce enough of. And Bloomie,if could give a (bleep) about what you thought of our instru...

Tunable.

I'd go for a tunable everytime ,you never know when you'll need to tune up or down.If you only play toons by yourself and have no reason to play toons with anyone else a fixed whistle is fine. Most other instruments are tunable and some of the dilks that play them maybe cannot tune them to a440,so a...

Odd Exceptions.

OK,there are the odd exceptions.
gernerally,if you start with a clean whistle and don't eat whilst playing it,you will find that it mellows with age, cleaning them then will undo abit of that mellowness IMO.

My Dogit.

I think my dog is most annoyed by me as I don't take her for walks for 5 hours per day.
By 3 in the afternoon she goes crazy if she hasn't had a walk.

Bore.

I wouldn't touch a small bore,I only play large bore whistles. Having started on low whistles I have way too much breath for those little tiddly whistles. Actually,I started on the didgeridoo way before whistles and learnt circular breathing, then whistles came along.I needed something I could really...
