I don't often get involved in these arguments, but they do seem to take place with some regularity on here. "I still think Kiri's tirade going-over each day in detail-was pointless." I thought Kiri's method of presenting us with the facts and letting us come to our own conclusions was THE ...

Hmmm...tempting, but I don't think I want to drop $300 on one without trying it first. Let us know what you think of it when you get yours.

I think Dr. Bronner must have been an early Crystal People convert. "Enjoy the creamy emollient lather..." -Brett Note to Dale: add to possible names for your band "Creamy Emollient Lather". [ This Message was edited by: Bretton on 2001-08-14 21:33 ]

Hi,
Bb Generations are usually not too bad.
Bb Water Weasels are very nice.
I assume the Dixon Bb is good, but haven't tried one in that key.

I'm anxiously awaiting one of Fred's whistles.
Have many people played Fred's whistle yet?

Hi, I play that one by ear too. Great song! I might write it out tomorrow at work if no one replies with another source.

I don't think "Do you love an apple?" is the original name of the song...I think it may be "Still I love him".

1. Learn some tunes (preferably from a person or recording). 2. Play the tunes slowly and thoughtfully…as slowly as you need to not make too many mistakes. 3. Use a metronome! This is tedious, but learning to play in strict time will make your playing sound better quicker than any other single aspec...

he's in your area,"

...I believe Mike Burke is in Murphysboro, Illinois, but you still might want to check out his whistles.

Hi Jim (and others...), Do you have any suggestions for tunes (and whistle keys) for someone to try their hand at blues whistle?

Are there any good Web sites for sheet music for blues standards, or are most of them copyrighted?

Thanks for any info you might have.

Hi, Sindts are pretty good about having an easy playing 2nd octave and the old style Burke WBB whistles are too. I'm picking up a new modle Aluminum Pro-Session Burke today, so I"ll let you know how that is later. I also recently got one of the newer Tony Dixon whistles, and it has a fairly eas...
