Looking to buy full or 3/4 set

I'm on the lookout to buy a full set, 3/4 set or just a set of drones and regs asap. Finding it difficult to locate a set so thought I'd post and ask any sellers or anyone who knows of sets for sale to inform me. Thanks

Re: Drone reeds?

i've got both and imho the EZdrones completely miss the point. They are easy enough to tune and can produce a steady tone but they are quiet and have none of the "buzz" or tonal dynamics most pipers would look for from their drones. Until a decent synthetic reed is invented I don't see why...

Re: sore bottom hand

thanks for your input guys. i guess its not my technique or tight grip causing the problem. I actually had a tendon reconnected some time ago in my bottom hand and this causes a wee bit of tightness in my right hand. it has not been apparent on my highland or uilleann playing and i suppose it must j...

Re: Reed Emergency - HELP!

yup eezedrones are the most hassle free, good value and decent sounding. http://www.pipedreamsreeds.com/ as for chanter reed- don't expect to ever sound any good if you are not playing at the very least once a week. any chanter reed will dry out within a month or two and sound pish (especially in Fl...

thanks Don. yeah, old Ross canister is the only one i know and from what i can tell is the best type of canister system on the go. I never use the chanter hose though, any kind of chanter hose seems to effect sound too much. keeping my drones water free is my main concern, Scottish winters are not c...
