You can buy a Syn set, the C&D set is around $80. The Syn's are my favorites right now.
Another good one is the Parks whistle. I have a D one and have ordered a C body last week. A D whistle and a C body would cost you $63.

I like the aluminium a bit more, but the trad is also very good. The trad is a bit easier to play, requires a bit less pressure to play than the aluminium one. I li...

I did some quick recordings, so didn't use a metronome, but I have on here and use it sometimes and if I'm playing less hasty I can play good in rythm (had to use a solid rythm last tuesday with my band and it isn't that difficult, but I was rushing through these recordings, so my rythm wasn't very ...

My Collection (Including pictures and recordings)

I made a few recordings for another forum, so I thought, why shouldn't I post them here :) The mic isn't great so the recordings aren't very good, especially the one with the bagpipes. My loud instruments with first the bombarde, then the Scottish bagpipe and then the medieval bagpipe. Played Herr M...

Very helpful! :) But the biggest problem for me when making whistles is the fipple. How to get them into the correct diameter and still let them remain perfectly round.

I have a Susato Kildare low D, I love it! It requires some breath control as said, but it's not that difficult to become used to it. I'll try to record Morrison's this weekend.
