Today, the wolf went away from my front door. So, I can hold on to my flute for awhile. Thanks to those who expressed an interest; however, I am withdrawing my sales offer for the time being. As someone said: timing is everything. Cheers, Cyril.

I thought I would mention why I am trying to sell my Seery; I have some pesky medical bills that need to be paid. I really like this flute but I need some cash. So, I'll reduce the price to $425 shipped. This is a good deal!
Thanks, Cyril

Did I mention that this would be a fine beginner flute? It is very easy to blow and get good tone. Breath requirement is not demanding as some Prattens may be. I would say it's as easy as a large Rudall.

BTW, price is reduced again.

What happened?? In a 9/1/08 response you said, "I really like my DBSBT. In fact it's the only whistle I play." Was it the new style or older version? Just curious. Medical bills happened. I am also selling a flute and a guitar. Let me add, I will keep it's identical twin. The one I am kee...

If you are looking for volume and a strong lower register with great barks and honks, you will like this flute. If this model is new to you; it has a tuning slide and long D foot. Nicely balanced, great intonation and with a very easy blowing embouchure.

Priced reduced to $450.

Some say "cry once and laugh later". If you buy a Burke you will be happy.

I suppose robotic "hands" could be created that would eliminate the player's level of expertise and simply demonstrate the rapidity of note transitions to the point where the whistle fails to make the transitions without a noticeable lag time.

What Terry said ... ever since I followed the suggestions in that article, it's been reedy, beaty, big and bouncy. Or maybe it's hard, dark, and reedy. I will add that I have played highland pipes for years and I believe that contributed to developing a strong embouchure. The lip strength was alread...

If I call my dog and he ignores my command to come ... the dog is not being responsive. There is the notion of timeliness in reaction to a given stimulus. An instrument (when manipulated) is responsive when it produces a note in a timely manner. I too have no issues with any of the previous observat...
