FS - OZ Vambrace (SOLD)

I have an OZ Vambrace tunable soprano D for sale that I received March 19 from Mitch Smith. It has been meticulously cared for, is in brand new condition, and is a beautiful whistle. The sale is prompted mainly by my worsening tinnitus, and my ears are just too sensitive. The Vambrace is made from G...

The low D came in today's mail. The mailing box was badly battered, but the whistle looks fine. I didn't expect to see this whistle as I had asked to be removed from the tour. However, I'm now glad I have the chance to try it. It's a very attractive looking whistle. I'll plan to test it out over the...

Even though one of the two names has probably been selected, my vote is for Sweetheart Pro Session and Sweetheart Pro Mellow. These names fully describe the playing characteristics of the whistle, and because it is a Sweetheart Pro, folks will know it is a high quality professional grade whistle.

I purchased a Susato high D (small bore) a year and a half ago following a trip to Ireland to visit my daughter. During that trip I saw a couple rather good musicians playing this whistle, and thought I'd give one a try. It does seem to have most of the characteristics you seek, although, the Susato...

Bump. The whistles are now for sale since a trade wasn't made per my original post. Also, note that the Dixon heavy brass whistle is a high C and not a high D. Sorry for the mistake.

Have a great day :)

The winds in the Upper Peninsula woods sing with the echoes of Native American whistles and drums, the songs of French trappers, and lilting melodies played by Irish, Cornish, Scottish, Italian, and other settlers. The woods themselves make music of their own, as rustling leaves whisper a melody and...

I use a section of rod from a rifle cleaning kit and attach a cotton swab to the end. These are available at many outdoor sporting good stores/departments. Cotton gun cleaning swabs can be purchased that are about 2 1/2 inches long and in various diameters, so you can match it to the bore size of yo...

Maybe this will help....I had a generation whistle with a fipple that refused to budge. I tried several techniques mentioned on the forum including soaking the head in warm water and pulling, soaking in hot water and twisting, and putting the whistle in the freezer for ten minutes followed by puttin...
