WTB: Low F Whistle DONE

Hey all,

I'm after a used low F whistle. Happily consider Overton, MK, Kerry, Burke, or Reviol.

Cheers,
Brett

FS: Syn Eb/D/C/B/Bb Set SOLD

http://i53.tinypic.com/97tzea.jpg One whistle head to fit five bodies (in Eb, D, C, B, and Bb). Tunable. If I wasn't missing the C# body, this would be the entire Syn high whistle range :D I've had these for a while now (purchased from Mitch at Oz Whistles at least 4-5 years ago), and I never play ...

WTB/WTT: Low F whistle

Hi all, I'm interested in a used Low F whistle in Aluminium or Brass. Prefer Burke, Reviol (with the Low E body as well if you've got it!) or Overton, but will consider others. Anyone looking to unload one of theirs? :D I've got a Dixon 3-section flute/whistle to trade as well. Bought in 2009, as ne...

Re: Your Reel Suggestions, Please

I'm with pancelticpiper -- your best bet is to pick out some reels that catch your fancy off of recordings that you like and to work that way. There are plenty of free software applications (like Audacity) for slowing down audio files (with or without changing the pitch), which can also be helpful w...

Re: Low F Whistle quest

I was lucky to get hold of a GFM Low F back when Chuck Tilbury was making whistles. The tone is fairly solid, with a touch of airiness (so not as solid as a Burke, but nowhere as airy as a Shaw). The tuning is spot-on across both octaves, and I have no trouble hitting third-octave harmonics. It's be...
