Re: Tunepal for Android - Buy it now

Great, I'm about to switch to an Android phone in a few weeks and this is one app I would miss. I'll be buying it soon.

Re: Geeks! Security help!

Re: iPhone question.

FYI, rumor has it a new, cheaper model with less storage space is coming out soon. So if you don't think you'll use 8/16GB of music or video, you may want to wait a few weeks and see what comes out. Personally I load up my iPhone with Doctor Who videos for watching while in the gym, so I like having...

It's 95F and 47% humidity, in other words a typical Houston summer.

I've been using a palm pilot of various models for years now to juggle categories of todo lists. So far it's worked out very well for me, I like the ability to capture a thought quickly before I forget it. Several friend's have recommended Dave Allen's <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gett...

Here's one of those weird coincidences, I just played this for my wife and and she said, "That girl is singing in Bengali!" I did some digging and it turns out it's a poem by Rabindranath Tagore, a famous Bengali poet...

Dancing 2008

The videos this guy makes are simple, but something about just makes me smile. Perhaps it's just so many people having a good time that's infectious. There's a wonderful moment half-way through in India. http://www.wherethehellismatt.com/videos.shtml?fbid=la_C- (A guy travels around and films himsel...

I hadn't heard about the activation restrictions, I'll have to look into it before deciding to buy it. And that I shouldn't have watched the spore lichen while the wife is trying to sleep, my laughter almost woke her up.

Spore Creature Creator

I downloaded the trial version of the Spore Creature Creator during lunch and played with it a bit. Lots of fun, if the sandbox to run around in was a bit bigger it would be a game unto itself. Hopefully the actual game lives up to my expectations.

I'm using it on my laptop and am happy with it. My only complaint is that my two most used plugins (gesture support and bookmark sync) aren't supported yet.

There can be only one true zombie film. I love the little documentary on the "Land of the Dead" DVD showing Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright (from "Shaun of the Dead") flying to Canada to do a cameo...
