Re: Hay and Watchya from a Brit in Norway
Hi. I'm here is West Virginia. I started playing wind instruments for my breathing exercises after having heart surgery. I'm doing well not, so not to worry.

Re: Do you ever play in public spaces?
Thanks for the replies. I started playing harmonica while I pumped gas back in President George W. Bush's Administration because I was distracting myself from the $1.49/gallon because I thought that was a crazy price! I'll play anywhere if I have to wait for someone, usually in parking lots. I haven...

Re: Long time away
I was talking about the physical balance. I don't yet know about the sound balance. I lost my embouchure and am looking for it again. Lucky for me, whenever someone has asked me to play in public, I have always managed a tune.

Re: Long time away
... I now walk with a Serenity Bamboo Walking Stick Flute. I glued an amber crystal ball to the top ... This has me wondering: With the crystal ball, how's the balance? Good question! When I ordered the walking stick, I ordered it to be as long as possible. They explained that balancing was a facto...

Re: Long time away
HI Folks:
It's been a while for me too. Too much has happened to me. Long story short, I now walk with a Serenity Bamboo Walking Stick Flute. I glued an amber crystal ball to the top and folks think I look like a wizard. Lemonade out of lemons. I have a laptop computer again too.

Suggestions for an Irish Walking Cane Flute
Hey Folks. I’ve been gone a while. Where could I purchase one of these flute canes? I have a serenity bamboo walking cane flute and now that I need a cane full time, the wife may let me purchase one in wood. I’d like it made to be played left handed. If it matters, I’m in West Virginia, USA. I’d lik...

Re: Debut novel -- shameless self promotion alert
That's 2 1/2 cents per page for the Kindle version. That's a good deal.
Congratulations. Lots of folks dream of writing a novel. You did it.

Re: How have your tastes changed?
How many people come to this board to say that they just heard celtic music and they want to learn how to play that flutey thing? Taste change as people grow. Some folks may not grow.
