It. is a new one. Francois told me the glueing of cork doesn't hold so well on cork and therefore used thread. Works fine although I generally prefer corked joints.

I absolutely concur. If you want a Pratten one go for a Forbes IMHO, but if you want a Rudall&Rose one go for a Baubet.
