Re: A sad Lir whistle story
The plated silver removes slowly at the finger holes. After some weeks. No, I don't! use polish cream or something else. That's really really disappointing.

Re: WTB: High C Whistle
The Setanta C is on its way back. More than one reason that disappointed me.

Re: Thumbs up for Killarney Whistles
Completely agree. Got both brass and nickel plated D's. Best balanced. I use my Lír as decoration. For that use it's wonderful. Tadhg is always kind and his mails are helpful. For the good contact I dedicated him a jig I recently wrote. It's called Tadhg's Jig, of course. To get the next step I boug...

Re: WTB: High C Whistle
Yeah, I will talk about my experience when I get it. CutiePie from youtube played the C whistle with the delrin head and she'd prefer this one. But not the C with different fipples, so it's not a real comparisation.

Re: WTB: High C Whistle
What about Setanta? I just ordered one. Got some D's and want a C now. And there are three choices. A brass fipple, a brass and delrin or a delrin. I took the brass and delrin. John says in his video it's the most balanced one.

Re: Tab converter
eeeemmmm....
Some tabs are missing. And it's not possible to change a tune later. The tab doesn't change. Shows the original tab instead.

That sounds good... if the new one will be okay.
But I guess they have to change the way they act immediately.
Greets to Greece.

Re: A sad Lir whistle story
Gia sou Babi. I also wrote some mails. My whistle also looked used and had a (like a) hit at the mouthpiece. I wanted to send the whistle back or a 50% refund to keep it. So after some days a "Seán" told me I'd get the 50%. That was okay for me. Hope your story will end similiar successful...

Re: Tab converter
Wonderful. Thanks so so much, Mr. Gumby.
I use musescore and now I also have tabs on my own new tunes (for some friends of mine). Yeah. You make me happy.

Re: Tab converter
Yes, thank you. I found it before. But Id like to have a real partiture. 4/4 or 6/8 and also half notes, quarter and so on.
Any recommendations?

Tab converter
Hey everybody.
I looked for it in this forum but didn't find anything. And the web shows me not what I really want.
Is there any software to write a tune as partiture and the software writes the tab below automatically?
Thanks so much.

Yes, it's me who had nearly the same story. I really wonder about the company. What's going on there?

Re: Lir whistles
When I don't want to buy another whistle, it must be the right one for now.
That's my point and I'm at this point.
That's it.
