hi all

what in your opinion would be a fair price for a fully mounted concert D set with a fully keyed chanter,along with a keyless chanter plus an extra set of bellows,just asking as i might be letting them go for the right price.

yo Tompipes, if you decide on a brian howard chanter,..whatever you do ..don't let anyone on this forum know about it,you might get ridiculed over it,mind you if its dinner time when you post it the school boys might be at lunch,so you might be left alone,best off saying nothing ..what they don't kn...

i had the same problem on my chanter,and blamed the reed ,it was only when i slowed playing it seemed not to happen as much,the reason was not covering the holes and a slight leak from a badly placed finger done that to me,you might be having the same problem,its worth checking out. :D :D

i have a set of nigel richard small pipes in A,i commissioned him to make it an engraved silver set,lovely sound and tone,and i believe its the only one he's made,with silver on small pipes,great maker,great pipes
