I am sorry to say that Brian Howard suffered a brain aneurysm on March 10th. He is slowly recovering but this means that the Howard whistle business is now for sale/license.

Hi all
The new Sheffield (UK) pipers club will start on Tuesday 5th August 2014 at 8pm in the back room of Flynns pub on Trippet Lane (formerly the Grapes). The club will meet on the first Tuesday of every month.

It probably would sean. its a lot of hard work finding a suitable venue at an affordable mprice.

Sorry, no flaming intended. I was pointing out acoustical inaccuracies regarding your description of the effects the bore and staple have on the shape of the air column. And I took the “"perfect", you know what I mean” to mean that there are “acceptable” faults in the tuning of UP chanters...
