Just got back from the hardware store with my O ring. Took my whistle with me to make sure of the fit. Works like a charm. Don't know if the volume decreased or not, doesn't seem as if that's the case, but the tone of the whistle (Susato high D) has changed some. Mellower, not as scratchy and takes ...

I think your playing is coming along just great, especially since you've just started so recently. Love the clawhammer banjo too and think the whistle & banjo sounded very good together. I'm a beginner on whistle and clawhammer banjo too, so I love hearing what you've done with the combination. ...

Is it too late to be included on this tour? I'm in Indiana. If it's possible it would be great to have an opportunity to be in on this. Thanks.

Fingering question...

My son has just said he's interested in learning bagpipes. He'll be 21 next month. I know "0" about them. I do play the whistle when I have time, but that's not often, between guitar, dulcimer, recorder & piano, not to mention that I'm forced to work! He has never played any instrument...

What if you start when you're OLD????

Makes me wonder what happens if you start playing the whistle when you're almost 53??? Is there any hope for someone with an AARP card??? For years the sound of the whistle that I heard in movies that amazed me was mistaken as being made by a Recorder. I was clueless. Never knew anyone who played th...

It's as good as on it's way....

Well... I never took a before picture and now I've already got it packed up, taped up and in a container ready to go on Monday, so I won't have a "before" picture, unless Jerry can take one when he gets it??? Maybe that's a good idea and would be another testament to his work. I surely wil...
