I went through a period of time when tinnitus almost totally kept me from playing. Whistle was the worst. Flute was difficult. I played around with strings (Uke) for a while and luckily it went away. I tried ear plugs for a while. Didn't seem to help much. Stuff just sounded strange.

I am soooo glad I found linux now...............................
I hate to fire up Windows. It takes 15 minutes for everything to update and finally get down to business before I can use it.
I run a personal firewall on Ubuntu linux, and that's it.

Besides the D, I use a C once every blue moon, and used an F once. I figured I would get some use out of the E I picked up ,but havn't.
