Does anybody know of any sort of whistle/Irish trad stuff going on in Nashville?

I don't really listen to the blues, but I do have a Skip James cd because the way he played guitar fascinates me. It's more kind of country-blues than what you normally think of as the blues, but it's good stuff.

I just got a job and moved to Nashville a couple weeks ago.

One of my co-workers told me about this place today (which is just a few blocks down from where I work) and apparently if you go in in the middle of the week and it's too crowded, Sam will yell at you to get out!

That's kind of bizarre because my Nana had a dachshund named Oscar, and when she was dying of cancer, he wouldn't leave her side during her last few hours no matter how much people tried to drag him away. I think animals' senses are just better than ours, they can sense very subtle changes in things...
