I'll send you a Little Black Whistle for postage and a little bit of gas money to get to the PO and home.

Or, I could sell you an Overton C for about $160 plus the postage/gas thing.

Deal? Send me a PM.

-Put on a "Cherish The Ladies" CD and let Joanie do the hard work, knowing it'll be played beautifully. Decent idea, but a personal performance is still better and more romantic. Tell your intended Joanie was booked to appear but was called away suddenly to a far-away whistle crisis and l...

Re: Crack Repair

The best course is always to send the whistle back to it's maker. I tried this with one of my whistles recently. It got caught in the customs crap. The wanted to charge him nearly $85 dollars even though the package was marked as returning for repair. Nice guy that he is, I actually wound up with a...

My wife swoons whenever I play my Bleazey Low D. I have very FEW high whistles that she like the sound of.

I would vote something slow, recognizable and on a low(er) whistle. It won't matter what the tune is if she can recognize it, especially if it is one that she has mentioned she likes a lot.

I wonder if he would ever come out with a Kit option. I am not sure I could reproduce it without having kit instructions to guide me through the process.

I would suggest skipping at this point. One month is more than enough time (WAY more) to delay. That person could always be tacked back on to the end of the tour.

Thanks, Feadoggie. One reason I asked is I play my Dixon with a regular grip. I've never mastered the piper grip simply because I have big hands and it's never been necessary. But it's a strecth on the Dixon. Sounds like I'd probably need it on the Viper. Or I could just stretch away and bring lots...
