Maybe Terry could confirm this. If the head or barrell was shorten on a C nat flute would that give a ture scale in C sharpe.

BLAS CEOIL BBC 2

Hello all,

Some great music coming up in Blas ceoil tv programme over the next 6 weeks or so on a Monday night at 10.00 pm. I think they might have some of the music on their website as well. Music from round the North of Ireland mostly and a bit further a field.

Interesting subject, I agree with Cocus its good that you can hear the problem that means you can sort it. For me personaly the best way to get in tune is by ear but more recently I al.ways check it with a tuner. The flute naturely goes out of tune I think the futher up the scale you go so what I do...
