I think the physics in that article is a little dodgy. Anything that uses the phrase 'partial vacuum' raises my suspicions so I would be cautious of using it as a source for something haven't studied such as anatomy. From what I understand, he currently makes a Rudall model, a Standard model, and a Pratten model. The Standard model is a hybrid mix of Rudall and Pratten qualities. I bought a keyless "Standard" model from Geert. It played easily right out of the box with great power or softness - I found...

Thanks! I think I can be flexible about the one year max. Just haven't tried enough flutes (and hoping to not have to :)) to know which one is the loudest.
