Thank you all for the warm thoughts, I've decided *not* to go for the pipes either....I do remember, when I played a Patrick Murray practice set I was heavily sweating for real....maybe I was playing with "Beginner's Hellish Strength"... I love music and although I must give up winds, I'll...

Yes, I thought of Hoover but the problem is on something else and it's that the way I play wind instruments. I was heavily trained to put a downward pressure when playing winds and this sort of causes my stomach to go down, making a piece poke out of the hole on the sheet holding the guts. :(

Thank you for your thoughts, :) it seems I've been dwelling on whistles alone.

Yes, I do have a guitar and a mando-guitar -- both kind of broken, loose peg and all; they play okay though :)

Looks like I'll be practicing piano from now on! no backpressure! :D

No more whistles from now on.

Due to some personal reasons I've decided to put an end to WhOA; I gave away most of the whistles, threw away some, and decided to keep only three low D's --- Chieftain (NR) low D, SZBE low D and Overton (Brigitte & Colin, did you send me the bent one already? please let me know...apart from fin...

Huge Music Instruments

I've always been fascinated by huge instruments -- Contrabass Saxophone, Contrabass Flute etc.

I'll post the first one here:

not exactly an animal sound, but I thinkg a rapper DMX growls like a dog in some of his tracks.

my dog once ate a boiled fugu :o When in danger/hunger, the quickest and dirtiest way is to visit Seven-Eleven, Family Mart, Sankus or Lawson. Recently they started to carry Burritos, too! If you'll be visiting Tokyo region only, I believe it'd be best if you find a person who can let you stay for a...

Why did the chicken cross the road?

Another game here. You state why, and then ask a following person the same question.

Q. Why did the chicken cross the road?

A. Because of WhOA.

and so on. So, why did the chicken cross the road?

Thanks Daniel, when I've acquired more PVC pipes I'll definitely give them a go and see how it goes. BTW, I noticed that the whistles sound better when the fipple plug slightly exceeds the bottom of the windway. It's hard to explain, the not-good whistles all have a characteristic below; fipple the ...
