Even worse, we have a Canadian contingent coming down from the Chris Langan weekend - Deb, Paul and I with guitarist Greig Cairns. Really looking forward to the weekend.

Cheers,

DJM,

You should be ashamed of yourself, to make such a publicly inappropriate comment. How about a little respect for musicians of the past.

All, We hosted Mike for the Chris Langan Weekend last year; he is a gentleman, a fine teacher, and a delight to spend time with. He has had a long and interesting musical journey through life, and we would all do well to spend some time with him. His influence on the wonderful playing of Brian Holle...

Montreal Sessions - Easter Weekend

All,

I will be travelling to Montreal this weekend with my wife, and would love to connect with some musicians for tunes. Does anyone know when the sessions in Montreal are between Friday and Monday?

Thanks,

Tweeto,

If you come to the Chris Langan Weekend in Toronto, there is quite an extensive network of paths along the water and within the city that are good for rollerblading (I use them for cycling).

In Columbus, Ohio (Seagull's territory) for business, and it is cold. Weak back D but the rest of my chanter seems to be holding out.

Be strong fellows.

I would like to be a part of that. Let's start with an emotional support group in February when the tempurature drops below zero.

I have a hinged-bellows from Joe like that as well. Mechanically, it is excellent as it gives a smooth motion of the bellows. However, I have noticed what Rory pointed out in that it is a bit long and can drive into my mainstock.

You should consider talking to Joe Kennedy about it.

Regars,

I suggest you try Cattle Hide, as it is thick, depressive and heavy (so it does not slip around). I started with a large piece of it, and now have a rather small piece for giving it away (even Joe Kennedy has a piece given to him for the price of a lesson).

Best of luck,

Contact Information: Jimmy Noonan

All,

I am trying to contact Jimmy Noonan, but can not find his contact information. If anyone has his email or phone number, I would really appreciate them in a Private Message.

Thanks and regards,

Good topic! A breath of fresh air, well needed.

a) I won the Ontario Varsity Salsa dancing competition once.

b) Soaring 30 feet on a CR250 on a Sunday afternoon.

c) Cycling, cycling, cycling (mentioned already).

Glands definitely gets topic of the month.

Cheers all,

a) Your shoulders will get stronger over time, and you will learn to pump keeping your right wrist steady. b) Your fingers should not be straight, but moderately curved. This is especially important later when you start playing the regulators, as having curved fingers helps keep the chanter closed w...
