FS: Hedwitschak Bodhran 40cm x 11cm $150 SOLD

This is an unused drum that has been stored for the past 3 years. It is in like new condition. It is the “basic” line which I paid $350 new. I think it is similar to what they are calling the “core” line now shown here: http://www.bodhranmaker.de/bodhrans/coreline.html

I'm selling my Thornton D Whistle. It is etched 7-07 on the back so pretty sure I got it in the summer of 2007.

FS: Sindt D whistle SOLD

I'm selling my Sindt D. This whistle was made in 2006(I think). It does have many, many hours of use but I haven't played in a number of years. it is in very good condition except for a couple tarnish spots on the brass. $85 or best offer. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/22700477/Whistle/Whistle%201.JPG ht...

Whistle Hero III

I keep telling my friends that I'm going to pull apart that fake guitar from Guitar Hero and retrofit the buttons somehow to a whistle.
They think I'm a total dork.

Then I'm going to reprogram the software to replace the classic guitar rock songs with jigs and reels.

It'll be sweet

Isn't your avatar really nothing at all? See how the mind can't fully grasp that nonconcept?

mine is Bumble from the rudolph the red nose reindeer. I like snow, particularly untouched powder on steep faces waiting for me to ski down. Somehow this seems to fit.

Thanks for the links to previous discussions. From what I could gather it seems that manufacturers of electronic piping chanters could easily port their existing design to whistle fingering. The only sticking points preventing this are handling 2 octaves and half holing. I think we are looking at th...

electronic whistle

Over the thanksgiving break I was able to try out an Electronic practice chanter for bagpipes. Check it out : http://www.deger.com/

Anyone seen anything similar for a whistle? I thought it was pretty cool for quiet practice or learning new tunes.
