Re: Got my Jerry Freeman tweaked Bluebird whistle today

It's so cool to see that you are still at it Jerry. Many years ago you tweaked and sent me a Shaw and today I was having a whistle day and in my hands was that Shaw. I know it's been years since I've checked out the forum, much water under the bridge, not much better with a whistle or a flute but I ...

Re: A few clips of Billy Miller bamboo flutes posted on YouTube.

Thanks Denny; ya Doc has a couple on his site. I would rather keep Billy making flutes though. I remember selling my Olwell D, which he made for me for 78 bucks for 78 bucks here many years ago and now I'm seeing people getting like 400 for them. Mother of pearl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hi Cathy; good to see...

Re: A few clips of Billy Miller bamboo flutes posted on YouTube.

Well Denny; really I just found it interesting that he was still making flutes. I've been out of the loop for a long time now and it's good to see a person can still get a pretty good flute and not have to spend a years wages on one.
Nice to see your still around too.

Take care;

Tom

Re: A few clips of Billy Miller bamboo flutes posted on YouTube.

I've got an Eb that Billy made for me years ago. Real window rattler. I would love to get an F but I checked out the link you provided to his web site and there is no contact info. How do I get ahold of him? He really does make a nice flute.

Well as you know Jordan, I am a one flute kinda guy :boggle: It's funny, I remember years ago a long and intense thread on whether or not to stick to one flute. I couldn't do it then and I sure can't do it now. My flutes all have a little something different to say and I have the pleasure of being t...

Well I'm with Mary on this one. I haven't ordered that many flutes from makers but of the four I remember ordering, all from different makers, I sure had no complaints. Of course I never remembered when they said they would be ready anyway and it was always a wounderful surprise to be told that the ...

Hi Denny; I'm just north of Bellingham. I live in my very small RV which I have been using for the last year and a half to travel around and work with horses. I left my horse on the other side of the mountains untill I find a place for us. It's raining like crazy right now and I'm loving it. Hey Jim...

Just another time warp

Well its good to see so many of the old croud still here. Still much good advise and not and good jokes and not and flute lore yes. I've been starting colts for the last couple of years and very much out of the loop as far as flute playing goes. Jim mentioned in one of his latest posts how inspiring...
