I don't adjust the chanter reed for this. Like I said earlier, I only use the E drones for one or two tunes that I play at home so I don't spend time trying to get things spot on.

I use cycle inner tube as a bellows connector pipe. It's nice and flexible, too flexible of course. So I insert short lengths of plastic plumbing pipe to stop it collapsing.
